In short
- Work starts after a written quote, your acceptance and a 30% deposit of the agreed fee.
- Free reschedule or cancellation is possible until 7 days before the session; after that, article 6 applies.
- Mixing and mastering include 2 revision rounds as described on the service pages.

1. Scope and parties
These terms apply to all services provided by Namdazivo B.V. (trading as Namdazivo), Van Hallstraat 74, 1051 HH Amsterdam, the Netherlands, KvK 80941921, VAT NL858560513B01. Contact: 020 228 7654 and [email protected].
They cover consumers and business clients who accept a quote for Vocal recording, Band recording, Mixing, Mastering or Podcast recording, as described under services and on vocal, band, mixing, mastering and podcast pages.
Only deviations expressly stated in the quote prevail over these terms. By accepting a quote, you confirm that you have read them. Your purchasing terms are rejected unless we agree to them in writing.
2. Definitions

3. Quotes and contract formation
A request via contact, phone or email leads to a quote we aim to send within 2 business days. The quote states the service, schedule, price including VAT at 21%, the 30% deposit and any extras.
The contract is formed when you accept the quote in writing (email is enough) and the agreed deposit is received or confirmed. Until then, dates are provisional and we may assign the slot to another client.
We may decline a project when scheduling, safety, technical feasibility or scope does not fit our studio (for example more than 6 musicians at once in the 45 m² live room).
4. Prices and indicative rates
Website prices are guide prices including VAT. Examples: Vocal recording from €95 per hour; Band recording from €130 per hour or €850 day rate; Mixing €275 per track; Mastering €95 per track; Podcast recording €240 per episode. The binding amount is in your quote.
Extra studio time beyond the booked block is charged only with your oral or written approval, at the rate in the quote. Travel, parking, hired musicians or sample clearance are excluded unless agreed upfront.
5. Payment
The deposit is 30% of the quoted amount including VAT and is offset against the balance. Consumers pay the balance on the session day or on final delivery unless the quote says otherwise.
Business clients pay within 14 days of the invoice date unless agreed otherwise in writing. Late payment may incur statutory commercial interest and reasonable recovery costs where permitted.
Until full payment we may withhold final files and commercial use rights; working files are kept as described in article 10.
6. Cancellation and rescheduling by the client

Send requests by email or phone with written confirmation. Arriving late shortens the session without refund if the next slot is booked.
7. Right of withdrawal (consumer, distance contract)
If you are a consumer and conclude a contract at a distance (email, phone, form), you may withdraw within 14 days without giving reasons unless an exception applies. Send a clear statement to [email protected].
If you explicitly ask us to start before the withdrawal period ends, you owe a proportionate amount for work already performed if you withdraw. The right does not apply to services fully performed after your express prior consent, or to custom audio that cannot be reused for other clients.
The rules in article 6 on cancellation timing apply alongside the statutory withdrawal right and do not limit it.
8. Changes or cancellation by Namdazivo
If essential equipment fails, key staff are unavailable or there is an incident on the premises, we notify you as soon as possible and offer another date. If that does not work, we refund all amounts paid within 14 days. We change engineers only after consulting you.
9. Running sessions
Opening hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–22:00, Saturday 11:00–18:00, closed on Sunday.. The studio has 3 rooms, including a vocal booth of about 12 m². From Amsterdam Westerpark station it is about a five-minute walk via Van Hallstraat. Tram 13 stops at De Wittenstraat, roughly four minutes on foot from there. On-street parking is limited; bike racks are right outside the entrance.
Participants under 16 may take part only with written consent from a parent or guardian who books and pays; under 16, a responsible adult stays for the entire session.
You treat gear and rooms carefully and follow engineer instructions. No smoking or vaping indoors. We may pause or stop a session if people or equipment are at risk; damage caused by negligence is charged to you. Instruments and laptops you bring remain your responsibility.

10. Files, delivery and archive
Unless the quote says otherwise, final files are delivered in common formats (for example WAV) via download link or on your media. Remote jobs (mix/master) start once complete, usable source files are received; timelines run in business days from that point.
We keep working files for 12 months after the last relevant session or delivery, then delete them from our systems. You are responsible for backups within that period. Longer storage can be agreed in writing for an extra fee.

11. Revisions
Mixing and mastering include 2 revision rounds as on mixing and mastering: one round is a bundled list of notes processed in one pass. Extra rounds or a new artistic direction after approval are quoted separately, including at €85 per hour for stem review where relevant.
12. Intellectual property and rights
Your works. Compositions, lyrics and beats you supply remain yours. You warrant that you have the rights to all material used, including samples and covers, and handle collective-management notifications yourself.
Recordings. When you finance and initiate a recording, you are generally the producer under Dutch copyright rules; Namdazivo B.V. does not claim ownership of your music. Any studio rights in raw takes transfer to you after full payment.
Podcasts and voice. Publishing voices and interviews requires participants’ consent; see podcast consent.
References. We use your name, logo or audio in portfolios or social posts only with your written consent.
AI. We do not use client recordings to train AI models and do not create voice clones without the person’s written consent.
13. Liability
We perform work with the care expected of a professional recording studio. Artistic choices, performance and preparation affect outcomes; we do not guarantee chart success or streaming numbers.
Our liability is limited to direct damage from an attributable breach, capped at the invoice amount of the relevant job for business clients, except for intent, wilful recklessness or personal injury. Data loss is mitigated by your backups and our retention period in article 10.

14. Force majeure
In force majeure (power failure, network outage, government measures, severe weather) obligations are suspended for as long as the event lasts. We inform you and reschedule; if no reasonable date is found, you may cancel unpaid future work with a refund of prepaid amounts for services not yet performed.
15. Personal data
We process personal data under our privacy policy. If you supply guest, band or podcast participant data, our data processing agreement applies where needed.
16. Complaints
Report complaints about a session or delivery within 14 days of the relevant date with a concrete description to [email protected]. We respond within 2 business days with a proposed solution.
17. Final provisions
Dutch law governs these terms and performed services. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands, subject to mandatory consumer rules allowing proceedings in your country of residence where applicable.
