Podcast recording
Dialogue stays clear around a round table in our studio: multiple microphones, headphone monitoring and an engineer watching levels and room noise.

Podcasts need different choices than music: speech must stay comfortable for long takes, furniture must not ring, and guests need to hear each other without echo. In Amsterdam West, Namdazivo sets a dedicated table layout with broadcast mics and a quiet control room next door.
Jonas Meijer handles recording and coaching when useful; our team manages routing and backup. For guest consent, releases and rights, read podcast consent and rights before your first session.
Process
- 01
Plan
Share format, speaker count, target length and delivery date. We pick hourly, episode or season pricing and book time within Mon–Fri 10–22, Sat 11–18. Mention sponsors or ad reads so we can note timing in the session.
- 02
Setup
Mics, pop filters and headphones per person. Short soundcheck and tips on overlap and table contact noise.
- 03
Record
Engineer watches levels and marks takes. Breaks when needed; water and notes are ready.
- 04
Delivery
Per-speaker or stereo/mixdown WAV, plus optional edit as agreed. Archive for 12 months.
Formats we host
Two hosts plus a guest, panel talks up to four people at the table, narrative shows with voice-over tracked in the vocal booth, and hybrid sessions where a remote guest joins a clean line (you provide the connection; we record studio mics).
We do not produce live streams with chat moderation; focus is capture and basic edit for release. Intro music can be brought in or added later in post.
Room and table
The podcast corner sits in one of 3 rooms, separated from the 45 m² music live room to limit bleed. Round table, soft chairs, no glass on the table during recording — small habits that prevent resonance. Daylight from the canal-side windows keeps the mood calm without harsh glare on notes.
Four speakers at once is comfortable; larger casts need rotation or another layout. Ask via contact about capacity for your show.
Tech and monitoring
Dynamic and condenser mics depending on voice and room; up to 24 channels exist in the building. Each speaker gets a mix-minus feed on headphones (8 sets on hand, more on request).
Default capture is 24-bit / 48 kHz. Second-recorder backup when possible. We pause if HVAC becomes audible in quiet moments.
Edits and scope
Episode pricing covers up to two hours of recording and a basic edit: trim silences, remove obvious false starts, one continuous mixdown per episode. Heavy narrative cutting, sound design or music production sit outside Podcast recording and are quoted separately or via mixing.
Transcripts, show notes, Spotify/Apple hosting and marketing are yours or your team’s. We deliver audio files, not an RSS feed.
Rights and guests
Every guest should know recording is happening and how the episode will be used. Our guide covers checklists, sample wording and sponsor tips. Namdazivo B.V. is not your lawyer; seek counsel when unsure.
Participants from 16 may join with parental consent; younger children only by arrangement. See privacy policy for voice data processing.
